What Is a Brow Lift?
A brow lift is a cosmetic procedure performed to combat drooping skin in the upper face, which can negatively impact facial expression and even impair vision. While a brow lift yields significant anti-aging results on its own, it is often paired with other procedures, such as a facelift or eyelid surgery, to heighten results and provide a more comprehensive transformation.
Dr. Block-Wheeler offers the following techniques for his patients in San Francisco:
- Endoscopic brow lift – With this technique, Dr. Block-Wheeler will use a slim camera known for enhancing precision and optimizing visualization in the targeted regions. Tiny incisions are created within the hairline, where scarring is later well-concealed.
- Temporal brow lift – With this approach, Dr. Block-Wheeler corrects the appearance of sagging skin on either side of the eyebrows, creating a more youthful and revitalized look.
- Coronal brow lift – A coronal brow lift involves incisions across the top of the scalp from one side to the other. Through these openings, the doctor will elevate sunken contours and create the desired dramatic transformation.
- Pretrichial brow lift – An incision at the hairline allows the brows to be gently elevated while reducing the overall size of the forehead.
